The 2026 NAGARA Annual Conference brings together colleagues from across federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments to strengthen that shared responsibility. In a milestone year for the nation, we gather not simply to reflect on history — but to equip ourselves for the future of records and information management.

With more than 30 concurrent sessions, General Sessions with featured speakers, and pre-conference workshop offerings, the program is designed to address the operational, legal, and technological realities facing government offices today. Topics include digital preservation, statutory compliance, information governance, emerging technologies (including artificial intelligence), and evolving records management standards.
