They asked for a better looking scanner
So we made it easier and faster to use.
Hey, we’re engineers, what did you expect?

Because in high-speed scanners, better performance is definitely more beautiful. Introducing the ImageTrac 3e Series, the newest model in the ImageTrac line. It’s more ergonomic, more efficient and a perfect addition to the industry’s best high-speed document imaging system. Learn more about the ImageTrac 3e Series

IMAGETRAC 3E SERIES

The ImageTrac 3e Series incorporates a number of design changes, some subtle, others more revolutionary, that make it easier to operate and easier to service. Together, these design enhancements increase the overall efficiency, increasing the overall speed of your scanning operations.

Operation Control Center

The 3e Series gives operators easier access to the machine’s essential controls. The user interface swaps the traditional keyboard and mouse for a touch screen control with a 180° range of motion, making the machine accessible to anyone. The touch screen also simplifies the process of setting up and scanning documents. It also helps operators recover from jams more efficiently.

Streamlined design

The 3e Series has a simplified profile, concealing more of the mechanical components of the scanner from the operator. The new design makes the scanner more comfortable for the operator, and when an interruption occurs, makes it easier for the operator to find and fix.

The 3e Series is also easier to service, as the accessories and component pieces are more accessible. So when service is required, you have less downtime and are back in operation faster.

Mechanical changes

We’ve made some subtle changes so that we can now feed thicker documents (such as envelopes) through the machine. The redesigned mechanisms are more reliable so that your scanners work longer and more efficiently.

On the back end, we’ve made subtle modifications—to both the hardware and the SoftTrac software—to eliminate jams. Again, making the machine smoother and more efficient. Together, these changes increase productivity while decreasing downtime.

Run closer to top end speed

Every high-end, high-speed document scanner claims to be fast. But customers in the real world rarely see the top-end speeds established in controlled tests. Interruptions, downtime and the realities of variation in customer documents conspire to keep most machines from ever reaching their claimed speeds.

The modifications of the new 3e Series increase both the reliability and the efficiency of the machine. Less downtime, ease of use on both the front end and the back end of the process, greater reliability—together help you scan more documents faster than ever before.

And isn’t that beautiful?

About Section 508

Section 508 requires Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities.

Inaccessible technology limits access to information and creates barriers to new opportunities for people with disabilities. The law applies to all Federal agencies when they develop, procure, maintain or use electronic and information technology.

ibml is committed to being the vendor of choice for customers seeking accessible solutions for their high speed scanning needs. ibml's design and manufacturing process allows for rapid review and implementation of design opportunities to address universal access.

In order to provide the needed information to government agencies, ibml assessed its products to the 508 provisions. The resulting data was compiled and recorded in the VPAT (Voluntary Product Assessment Template).
