in Document Automation

NEW ORLEANS, LA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/08/2004 -- ReadSoft, the Global Leader in Software Development for Document Automation, Announces a Partnership With Imaging Business Machines (IBML), a Leading Developer, Manufacturer and Distributor of High-Speed, High-Capacity Document Image Scanners

ReadSoft announces a new product platform, ReadSoft DOCUMENTS, along with a partnership with a company whose products align tightly with ReadSoft's vision of freeing businesses from manual handling of documents. IBML provides scanning solutions that provide the highest document and data integrity possible.

At the AIIM conference March 8, both companies announce new products and how they intend to tackle the marketplace together. ReadSoft's Document Automation solutions incorporate applications such as structured forms, EDI, invoices, indexing and mailrooms. Meanwhile, IBML announces the Image Track III and IV, which can be used for processing the same documents ReadSoft deals with.

"Both companies working together are really automating the way companies will handle documents," said Bob Fresneda, President of ReadSoft US Operations. "From sorting mail, to classifying it, to transforming it into a digital image and text, both ReadSoft and IBML can help companies take this information and process their businesses better."

"IBML is expanding rapidly and we just recently announced our new European base in Germany and our new additions to the ImageTrac Scanning Platform, the ImageTrac III and IV. These new developments put us in a good position to be part of ReadSoft's global business, particularly in the areas of image classification of intermixed items," said Robert Sbrissa, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at IBML. "We are excited about ReadSoft's new offering and look forward to what we can offer to the market together."
