Imaging Business Machines Signs Reseller Agreement with
NCR to Expand Global Markets

NCR customers will gain expanded multiform scanning capabilities

October 17, 2006 – Birmingham, Ala. – Imaging Business Machines, LLC (IBML) maker of the high-speed ImageTrac ® Color Scanning Platform, announces a reseller agreement with NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) that will help more customers around the world benefit from the versatile productivity and cost savings of ImageTrac transaction processing system. The agreement grants NCR preferred reseller status to market and sell IBML ImageTrac® III and IV high-speed scanners and related software under the NCR iTRAN™ brand in select countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and African regions.

For financial institutions, government offices, retailers, insurance providers and other businesses, paper continues to become costlier and less efficient to handle and store. Digital capture and multiform scanning have experienced steady growth as companies seek more efficient ways to process essential documents. Multiform scanning allows documents of various size, weight and composition to be captured and sorted in one pass at high speed. Companies reduce the costs and labor associated with document preparation, separation and troubleshooting. The scan also rapidly captures both digital images and identifying parameters that provide data for other business applications. As a result, companies can accelerate overall processing and improve customer service.

The new agreement covers IBML hardware, software and services. ImageTrac transport scanners can manage up to 400 pages per minute and utilize IBML SoftTrac®, ExportTrac™ and DocNetics™ software. NCR also purchased four ImageTrac scanners as demonstration models.
