Imaging Business Machines Names Kodak Service & Support Authorized Worldwide Service Provider for High Volume Scanners
ROCHESTER, N.Y. and BIRMINGHAM, Ala. June 12, 2003 Imaging Business Machines (IBML) has named Kodak Service & Support a worldwide authorized service provider for its high volume scanners. Under the agreement, Kodak Service & Support will provide both warranty and post-warranty service, which includes onsite maintenance as well as installation support. IBML products supported by Kodak include the ImageTrac® I and ImageTrac® II product lines and their accessories. Kodak will support IBML customers in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan and Asia In announcing the agreement by Kodak to handle service and support worldwide IBML founder, president and CEO Gary Murphy said, "After shipping more than 500 systems worldwide, it is very gratifying to us that the ImageTrac's reliability, along with excellent customer testimonials, met Kodak's requirements for their service and support organization. With systems installed in more than 20 countries, we believe that the Kodak symbol for Worldwide Service and Support as part of our offering, will enable us to give all of our present and future customers a high level of confidence in moving to our high speed color scanning platform."
