IBML Offers Dual Speed Transport on the ImageTrac III

June 07, 2006 – Birmingham, Ala. – Imaging Business Machines, LLC (IBML) maker of the high speed ImageTrac ® Color Scanning Platform announced today the release of the dual speed 30/45ips ImageTrac III scanner. The ImageTrac III has been widely accepted as the platform of choice in the mid-tier scanning space since its introduction a year and a half ago. Now IBML has released the ImageTrac III at dual speeds of 30 and 45 IPS providing customers with an even greater return on their investment.

The ImageTrac III which has processed documents at native 300 DPI @ 30 IPS now includes the option to run the transport at native 200 DPI @ 45 IPS, selectable at the job level. Customers who already have ImageTrac III running at 30 IPS can contact IBML for the field upgrade process to convert to the dual speed feature.

Recent changes to the technology now allow our current and future customers to take advantage of the inherent speed at 45ips.
