IBML Launches DocNetics - The Next Level of Intelligent Document Imaging

June 07, 2006 – Birmingham, Ala. – Imaging Business Machines, LLC (IBML) maker of the high speed ImageTrac® Color Scanning Platform recently introduced DocNetics™, asuite of productsfor its SoftTrac ® application . SoftTrac and DocNetics work together to enhance the functionality of scanning on the ImageTrac and Twain scanners. DocNetics is the next generation of software and hardware based intelligence that will allow for further elimination of document preparation and handling. In addition, DocNetics provides more information about scanned content to improve backend application workflows, such as data capture and correction applications.

The DocNetics suite of products include: Barcode-All, Checks-All, DocType-All and solutions for separating transactions on envelopes and/or checks. According to Bill Jones, Director of Operations, Mackin Imaging Systems, “DocNetics has provided us a way to reduce our operating costs, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy in ways not previously available to our operations. Mackin sees DocNetics benefiting just about all of our image service clients regardless of their volumes.”
