ibml to Showcase Analytics Solution at Fusion 2010
GRAPEVINE, TX, May 7, 2010 -- This week at FUSION 2010 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center,
ibml will showcase SoftTrac® Analytics, its new software that provides a real-time, holistic view of the
performance of an organization’s document scanning operations. SoftTrac Analytics is the first in a series of
planned modules for ibml’s SoftTrac suite for centrally managing enterprise document scanning operations.
ibml will be in booth No. 716 in the FUSION expo hall.
By centralizing operations reporting and analysis with SoftTrac Analytics, organizations can gain a much better
understanding of the efficiency and effectiveness of their document scanning infrastructure, and can more
easily develop, manage and distribute operations reports.
“Reporting and analysis is a critical resource for operations managers, and that makes FUSION 2010 the ideal
venue to showcase the benefits of SoftTrac Analytics,” commented ibml President and CEO Derrick Murphy.
“To extract critical information from multiple scanners, and turn it into timely and actionable business
intelligence, is difficult and strains limited IT resources. SoftTrac Analytics provides operation managers with
the data they need to make actionable business intelligence a reality. This type of enterprise visibility and
management is fundamental to our SoftTrac suite.”
SoftTrac Analytics enables easy, real-time access to rich productivity data and operational statistics from a
user’s document scanning solution. This gives operations managers better insight into their business assets,
labor, processes and more. For instance, SoftTrac Analytics provides running totals for throughput and
documents processed. Report information can be filtered by scanner, operator, job, time frame, errors and
more. Users also have the ability to drill-down and sort report data. Reports can be stored locally, centrally
on the network, or e-mailed. The Windows-based software seamlessly works with ibml’s SoftTrac suite and
includes a library of “built-in” reports.
Also at FUSION 2010, Lisa Coleman, of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, will deliver a case
study presentation on how an ibml document scanning solution helped her organization handle a sudden
increase in scanning volumes without having to hire additional employees. The ibml solution is part of MHHS’
centralized scanning department charged with imaging patient documents in an effort to establish a complete
electronic medical record (EMR) for every patient.
Additionally, ibml is the exclusive sponsor of the FUSION closing night reception at the House of Blues in
Dallas. The reception will include a concert by country western superstar Jack Ingram.
