ibml to Participate on Panel Discussion at FTA 2010 Annual Meeting

BIRMINGHAM, AL, May 25, 2010 – ibml, a leading provider of software, hardware and services for document scanning and data capture, today announced that Rich Miller, the company’s business development manager for the state government arena, will participate on a panel discussion at the Federation of Tax Administrators (FTA) meeting, June 7, at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead, in Atlanta.

Miller will join representatives of J&B Software and Fairfax Imaging for an interactive roundtable discussion on payments and document automation technology trends in the government space. The panel also will focus on the results of a recent survey of state, county and local government end-users by The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI) and FTA. Mark Brousseau, editor of TAWPI’s today Magazine and author of a report on the government survey will moderate the panel.

“The FTA 2010 Annual Meeting is the ideal forum to discuss technology trends among government users,” Miller said. “Continuing cost pressures and increasing constituent service demands require government entities to rethink their traditional approach to payments and document processing. This panel will highlight the technologies and processes users are deploying, as well as their future plans.”
